Penny Yeager’s practice
focus is Business Law. She has drafted agreements and resolutions,
reviewed contracts, and researched many issues related to the
natural resources sector. Penny also practices in the areas of
commercial real estate and securities law.
Prior to embarking on legal studies Penny was editor of two
regional newspapers before becoming a freelance journalist. Her
submissions included articles for the Canadian edition of TIME
and The Western Producer. Penny has also been a project manager
for the Centre for Studies in Agriculture, Law and the Environment
at the University of Saskatchewan. This work involved project
design and coordination, and the drafting of agreements between
farmers involved in a water protection program.
Penny is the winner of a Saskatchewan Law Society Scholarship
and the Silas E. Halyk Prize, as well as a number of prizes in
journalism. She has a black belt in Tae Kwon Do and is an accomplished
pianist. She is a member of Saskatchewan Young Professionals
and Entrepreneurs (SYPE).
