Jodi Wildeman was awarded
the Law Society of Saskatchewan Gold Medal as the top student
in the 2003 graduating class of the College of Law at the University
of Saskatchewan. She also won a number of other noteworthy scholarships
during her academic career, including the William Elliott Entrance
Scholarship to the College of Law, and numerous other awards
recognizing outstanding academic achievement. Following graduation
Jodi served as a law clerk with the Alberta Court of Appeal and
the Alberta Court of Queen’s Bench and completed her Articles
of Clerkship in MLT’s Calgary office.
Jodi has gained considerable experience by researching and
writing legal briefs on a wide range of issues, and works with
senior counsel on all aspects of the litigation process, including
drafting pleadings, preparing affidavits and conducting examinations
for discovery. Jodi has drafted and brought applications in both
the Alberta Court of Queen's Bench and the Alberta Court of Appeal,
has made Chambers applications in the Saskatchewan Court of Queen's
Bench and attended with senior counsel at the Saskatchewan Court
of Appeal. Jodi has also published articles on legal issues affecting
biotechnology.
