Tyler Wake's practice
focuses on general corporate and commercial law. His work regularly
involves incorporating businesses; drafting and reviewing shareholder
agreements, agreements for the purchase and sale of businesses;
and drafting and reviewing documentation for commercial lending
and financial arrangements including credit agreements and accompanying
security documents. Tyler also provides legal services in the
areas of securities and natural resource law.
Tyler joined MLT in 2006 following a distinguished education at
the University of Saskatchewan. He was awarded the P.E. MacKenzie
scholarship for academic achievement and the Silas E. Halyk award
for the top criminal law mark. Tyler was Vice-President of the
Law Student's Association (LSA) and sat on the Board of Editors
for the Saskatchewan Law Review.
Prior to attending law school, Tyler traveled Western Canada as
both a junior hockey player and a touring and recording musician.
Today he continues to be an active participant in our community
as a member of the Saskatchewan Young Professionals and Entrepreneurs
(SYPE) and the CORE Business Group.
