Chris Veeman’s focus
is on the workplace: he practises primarily in Labour & Employment
Law, Immigration Law and Human Rights law.
On graduation from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Law in
2003 he clerked at the Federal Court of Canada where he developed
an interest in citizenship and immigration law, employment law
(in particular the Canada Labour Code), and human rights law.
Chris has appeared on behalf of clients in the Federal Court of
Canada, the Saskatchewan Court of Queen’s Bench and Court
of Appeal, the Immigration and Refugee Board and the Saskatchewan
Labour Relations Board, the Canadian Industrial Relations Board
and the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Citizenship and Immigration.
He currently lectures in Citizenship, Immigration and Refugee law
at the University of Saskatchewan, College of Law.
