Nathan Schissel joined
MLT from Willows, Tulloch & Howe in Regina. During law school,
he worked for two summers as a research assistant to in-house
counsel for Mirant Energy in Calgary. He has experience in the
areas of commercial sales-transactions and financing, wills and
estate planning, and residential and commercial real-estate conveyancing
and development. He has assisted and advised trustees of a Treaty
Land Entitlement Agreement and Specific Trust Agreement on compliance
issues and policy initiatives surrounding the operation of the
trusts, including the permitted use of trust funds for economic
development. He has appeared as lead counsel in Provincial Court,
the Court of Queen's Bench, the Court of Appeal and before various
administrative tribunals and municipal committees.
