Leah Schatz advises both
unionized and non-unionized clients on labour and employment
matters. She is an experienced litigator who regularly appears
before various administrative boards and tribunals, and all levels
of the Saskatchewan courts. She has also been directly involved
in the negotiation of collective agreements, both acting as chief
spokesperson and in an advisory role. She regularly provides
practical advice on human resource management policies and personnel
management issues. Leah has lectured in the labour and employment
area throughout Saskatchewan on topical issues ranging from human
rights to occupational health and safety.
Prior to joining MLT, Leah served as counsel in Labour Relations and Employment
for the Saskatchewan Association of Health Organizations. Health care continues
to be an important part of her practice.
