Meghan McCreary's practice
focuses on labour and employment law. Her labour and employment
practice experience includes advising both public and private
sector employers on a wide range of labour and employment law
issues, including collective agreement interpretation, labour
relations, privacy rights, human rights, workplace policies,
employment contracts, and discipline and discharge.
On completion of her legal studies at Osgoode Hall Law School
in Toronto, Meghan clerked for the Chief Justice of Saskatchewan
of the Court of Appeal. Prior to re-joining MLT, Meghan also
worked at a prominent management-side labour and employment law
firm in Vancouver.
Meghan has appeared as counsel before the Saskatchewan Court
of Queen’s Bench and the Supreme Court of British Columbia,
the Court of Appeal in Saskatchewan and British Columbia, the
Federal Court of Appeal, and many boards and arbitration tribunals
including the Labour Relations Board, Labour Standards Tribunal
and Human Rights Tribunal. Meghan also frequently presents at
conferences and workshops on labour relations and human resource
issues.
