Maurice Laprairie has extensive experience in both trial and appellate litigation. He has appeared as counsel in hundreds of reported decisions before all levels of courts, boards and tribunals in Saskatchewan, and at the Supreme Court of Canada. He has been named one of Canada's Leading 500 Lawyers by LEXPERT Magazine since 1999. In recognition of his accomplishments as a litigator Maurice Laprairie was admitted to the prestigious American College of Trial Lawyers.

Maurice's practice includes defence litigation, insurance subrogation claims, construction litigation, labour and civil arbitrations, injunction applications, personal injury claims, and professional negligence actions. He has represented a broad spectrum of professionals, including lawyers, architects, engineers, dentists, chiropractors, insurance agents and real estate agents. He has acted as counsel in hundreds of negligence and breach of contract claims.

At the heart of Maurice's practice philosophy is a desire to achieve the best possible result for his clients, both in terms of outcome and economy. He is a proven courtroom litigator who has negotiated many pre-trial settlements to the advantage of his clients. The clients he acts for include private citizens, professionals, insurers, corporations, and government departments and agencies.
