Jordan Hardy appears before
all levels of courts on all types and manners of actions, with
a focus on commercial disputes, estates and trust litigation,
agribusiness law, product liability defence work, real estate
litigation, personal injury claims, insurance litigation and
First Nations law. Jordan was recently appointed to lead the
firm's estates and trust litigation practice.
In 2004, Jordan was appointed as Assistant Commission Counsel
to the Commission of Inquiry into the Wrongful Conviction of
David Milgaard, a complex assignment involving the management
of over 100,000 documents and an extensive witness list with
hearings that lasted into late 2006. Jordan organized and led
a large portion of the evidence that was presented to the Commission.
Jordan previously worked extensively on Residential School claims
on behalf of First Nation clients. He advanced some of the earliest
claims in Canada in this area, and successfully resolved a large
number of claims involving the Gordon Residential School and
the previous Administrator, William Starr. Jordan acted as MLT's
project manager for Residential School Claims during this time
period. |
