Peter Fenton's practice focuses on real property law, with a particular emphasis on commercial financing transactions and asset backed lending, commercial real estate development, and commercial leasing. Peter also assists First Nations clients with matters related to Treaty Land Entitlement, reserve creation, business acquisition and on-reserve commercial leasing.

As a member of the Intellectual Property Practice Group, Peter assists clients with respect to the reservation of intellectual property rights in equipment leases and joint-venture agreements, and with respect to trade-mark applications, product labeling requirements, and licence agreements for intellectual property. Peter is an Associate member of the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada.

Peter joined MLT in 2008 after practicing for several years with another large Saskatchewan law firm, where he gained broad experience in civil litigation (with a focus of professional negligence defence, insurance defence and subrogation matters), real property law, natural resource law and in general corporate and commercial matters.
