John Dipple has experience
with many facets of corporate and commercial law, regularly advising
clients on matters such as corporate structuring, legal due diligence,
bids and agreements for purchase and sale, and corporate financing.
Though he maintains a diverse corporate and commercial law practice,
John's emphasis has been on industrial and agribusiness project
development, commercial financing, construction law, and natural
resources law. He has had extensive involvement with the development
and construction of several major manufacturing facilities in
the United States, work which has included the negotiation and
preparation of numerous construction, equipment supply and outsourcing
service agreements. John has worked on many projects in the agribusiness
sector, including innovative grain terminal development and equity
offerings by community-based farm organizations. For two years
John was seconded to IPSCO Inc., a Canadian steel manufacturer,
with primary responsibility for US commercial legal matters.
He has also worked closely with companies in the oil and gas
sector in the negotiation and documentation of natural resources
transactions.
John's exposure to commercial and industrial project development
includes significant work with large commercial lenders headquartered
in Saskatchewan, for several of whom he has developed standard
loan and security documents. He also advises clients on refinancing
and the acquisition and disposal of real estate and other commercial
assets.
