Marquis Diment maintains a general corporate commercial practice with a focus on acquisitions, divestitures and construction law. Marquis' experience with construction law includes project structuring, contract negotiation and documentation, builders’ liens and construction dispute resolution. He has assisted various project participants, including owners, contractors, subcontractors and engineers.

Prior to embarking on legal studies, Marquis traveled around the world visiting more than 20 countries before stopping in Southeast Asia to work as an English language instructor and course developer. At university he volunteered with legal assistance programs and was a member of various student representative organizations. Marquis was an apprentice carpenter who operated a revenue property business in Brandon.
