Alain Gaucher Appointed Queen's Counsel

The Attorney General of Saskatchewan today announced that MLT's Alain Gaucher is among 16 members of the Law Society of Saskatchewan honoured with the designation of Queen's Counsel for 2011. This distinction recognizes consistently high standards of practice and distinguished service to the profession.
Alain has extensive experience in personal and business succession planning, high net worth estate planning, corporate tax, and shareholder agreements. Alain works with a broad client base of clients to produce tax efficient business structures and processes. He has extensive experience with provincial, national and international tax issues, and provides tax litigation advice in disputes with the Canada Revenue Agency.
Alain is a committed community leader who is currently a Director of the Saskatoon Community Foundation, a Former Chair of the St. Paul's Hospital Board of Management, and a Founding Director of the Saskatoon Branch of the Canadian Association of Family Enterprise.
