Commercial Litigation
We are a law firm that deals primarily with issues arising from business transactions and interactions. Our lawyers regularly resolve complex commercial disputes by taking a practical, results-oriented approach. We represent businesses, governments and Crown corporations, not-for-profit organizations, and individuals. We have represented clients in all manner of actions before superior courts, the Federal Court and the Supreme Court of Canada.
Our object is to effectively and efficiently resolve commercial disputes of all natures, involving commercial contracts, intellectual property claims, tax litigation, banking, construction and property claims, disputes over pension funds and compensation, investors’ claims, and insurance-related issues, particularly those dealing with business losses. Where appropriate, our lawyers bring to bear significant experience in alternative dispute resolution strategies and techniques.
While the focus of our practice is in Alberta and Saskatchewan, our team of seasoned litigators has successfully argued significant cases in Ontario, Manitoba and British Columbia.
